Every forty minutes the students have five minutes of relaxation from the Work of the class-room, and there is a recess of thirty+Hve minutes at midday. T Stump Requireh at ipumz. The time-table of every student is so ar- ranged that she has one studyhour, at least, in the daily session of the school. Her Work will require from one to three hours of close study, daily, at home, the greater length of time being required of students in the higher grades. In no case, however, should study at home interfere with proper rest and recrea- tion. lfa student spends the afternoon and evening over her books, it is certain either that she is attempting too much, or that her method of study is at fault.
