TITLE Two years ago Pacifica Soccer earned the school it ' s first C.I.F. Championship under the guidance of Coach George Teriaak. This year the former C.I.F. Coach of the Year, returned to coach the Mariner Soccer Squad as they gunned for another successful season. Last years varsity squad of underclassmen who returned again this year, were barely affected by graduation. Leading the Mariners were all league performers Jim Engels, Nico Petesch and Glenn Mayer. With Greg Alee, Dave Micus, Steve Fosmire, Randy LePore and Don Mahoney all playing key roles. Helping Teriaak, this year, with the coaching duties were former players Jay Sheed, in charge of the J.V. ' s and Mike Erick.son, coaching Frosh-Soph. The experience of this years squad of returning lettermen and the leadership of Teriaak were sure to give headaches to the rest of the Empire League. Head Coach Teriaak 181
