The story centers on a love affair between Sid Sorokin (the new factory superintendent) and Babe Williams (the grievance Committee of the Local Pajama Workers Union). Complications set in when Babe and the union fight for a 7 V2 cent raise and Sid doesn ' t want to lose his new job by siding with the union. SADIE HAWKINS The Sadie Hawkins dance enjoyed a great turnout this year, a successful venture for ASB. Many club sponsored booths decorated the dance floor. Some of the more popular booths - - ' h? ' Phoney Express sponsored by Choral Club, the csr-cnin Posr sponsored by Germa n Club, and the jail which ;,v -; sponsored by the drill team. Bridget Brill and Mike Ferrin were the winners of Li ' l Abner, Daisy May contest. Runners up were Wendy Flaherty and Kevin Huff, and Maryellen Bodner and Terry Morgan.
