fs Regina Glasco, Director GOSPEL CHOIR Seeing that Pacific had a need for a variety of music, Regina Glasco brought together and directed students who enjoyed singing in four part harmony for the public and themselves on different occasions dur- ing this year. This choir was open for any student to join and was known as the Gospel Choir. They showed superb talent at the annual Wassail Party in December. Other concerts that were scheduled during the year were at various churches in the area, during Black Culture Week sponsored by the C.B.S . and a spring concert on campus for the public. MENC The lVlusic Educator's National Conference CIVIENCD is a professional organization of music educators. Pacific University's student chapter of IVIENC, advised by Dr. Albert Freedman, in- volves 14 students majoring in music education These people of NIENC have held meetings, conventions, sponsered speakers, sold candy to raise money for IVIarsh Hall and they have also put on music demonstrations.
