SENATE Pacific University s Senate is the university s central legislative body for a I aspects of campus life. The membership is composed of administrators, alumni, faculty, staff, students and trustees. The Senate's main job is to revise, write andfor develop legislative policies that guide every phrase of university governance. All other governance structures on campus are accountable to the Senate. PHI LAM BDA OM ICRON Phi Lambda Omicron, better known as Philos among the members of this sorority and other students on campus. The involvement of these girls began this fall with minor and major rushes to make new girls aware of the organization and to encourage them to join. This year they wel- comed nine new members, with a hope for more from the spring semi-formal rush. This organization of women at Pacific has many annual activities such as barn dances in the fall and spring and also the formal dinner dance in the spring. They perform many service projects, hold parties for special occasions and find other forms of entertainment.
