FIELD HOCKEY l've been very pleased with the team's playing this year , commented Coach Judy Sherman about the performance of the women's field hockey team. The team standings ended up as two wins and three losses. Leading scorer for the season was Susan Dickson, and Diana Krieger did very well at the goalie position. SOCCER Ups and downs, sun and mud- it was a very goodfbad year for Pacific's soccer team. Hard fought victories over Oregon State fthe first time everl and University of Portland were tem- pered with losses to such teams as University of Oregon and Portland Community College. Soccer coach Bob Reece expressed some disappointments, There was no doubt that we had the talent necessary to be a league contenderp we just couldn't seem to develop it until the latter part of the season. Outstanding players included Jeff Long, Dan Stilwell, and Mike Cardoni. Also receiving praise were Farouz Fariva, Ed Nloore and Pancho Hanono. QUNQ
