The proceeds from the luau goes toward the scholarship fund of the club to enable needy stu- dents from Hawaii to continue their education. This year part of the proceeds went toward the fund to rebuild lVIarsh Hall. The luau's theme was Hawaiian Hospitality and the program consisted of hulas, chants, Tahitian dances, and a tribute to the royal family, Kamehameha.

On Friday, a coffee hour was held where parents, students and faculty members could get acquainted. Saturday evening brought the luau, sponsored by Pacific's Hawaiian club, Haumana O Hawaii. The luau, a Hawaiian feast dinner, came along with entertainment from the islands, performed by the 100 plus students who attend Pacific and whose homes are in Hawaii.
