PriHcipal ' s JAessage School days are a very imponant part of life. Sometimes students are inclined to forget that they are doing more than preparing for life--they are living now! True, the student should be preparing for the higher joy of wider service ; but the best way to be prepared is to live a life of service here and now. In this way you will establish habits of usefulness and know the true joy of service. It is God ' s plan that you should be happy and contented. He has shovm the way to experience true happiness. It is in living to bless others as Jesus, our example, did when He was upon earth. There is no greater joy in life than to render happiness to others by giving the best to ourselves. Happiness is a by-product of right thinking and right living. True and enduring happiness depends primarily upon a close alliance with God. Keep close to Him, and your highest purfKJse in life will be to grow in spiritual grace and power. This will make you of great service to others and will bring you untold satisfaction. Store your mind v ith useful thoughts; cultivate a mental attitude of peace, contentment, and good will; divert your mind from self-centeredness; resist the common tendency to want things your own way; concentrate on your immediate task, making the most of today; be grateful for your opportunities and blessings. Practice these things, and happiness will be- come a habit. You will have learned how to live!
