Thirty teachers were chosen and given a questionnaire which lets them itemize their gripes on an IBM card. According to the survey the most disturbing thing you can do to your teacher is to mumble constantly. You discipline can fail most easily by skipping classes. And you can be quite certain of turning teach into an enemy by competing with him for class attention. One teacher reports that nothing students do irritates him Cguess you don't have to get those haircuts, boysb, but that some things worry him. Many teachers felt that the last part of the questionnaire was irrelevant and only one teacher admitted he had stu- dents which were brighter than he. Should this survey cause your faith in the Lantern to flicker, remember that it was a non-professional, completely biased, non-random and highly doubtable sample.
