DMI- ISTR TIO . . . He has been with us only since 1950, but in that time President Weaver's leadership has proved itself. His wide experience in denominational work at every level from the elementary school to the General Conference has provided a suc- cessful background for his work as a college president. Dr. Weaver's approachable friendli- ness and his readiness to listen to student prob- lems has endeared him to both teachers and students. His keen judgment and understand- ing have inspired our respect and confidence. Last year Dr. Weaversaid, l am just getting acquainted with PUC. And PUC was just getting acquainted with him. This year we can say that he has learned to know PUC and, as one student put it, PUC just plain likes him, too! John E. Weaver The ultimate responsibility for the smooth operation of PUC rests on the shoulders of the administration. The duties of this group are varied, ranging from the handling of transfers, drop vouchers, and miscellaneous records to the planning and management of an exten- sive building program. From the cas11ier's window, from the registrar's desk, from the dean's oflice, and from the president's oflice come the consecrated service which means the smooth operation of the college.
