SACA-to the ideal of Christian fellow- ship. through which we obtain our brightest and most abiding memories for days to come. W'hat is it to have a person to whom one may turn in time of need? Wihat is it to know someone who is sad in one's sorrows? It is to possess a friend, a true friend. a blessing for which one should give manifold thanks to God. Pacific Lutheran College and friendship? The names are synonymous. Our school is spoken of as the friendly school. It is famed for its friendliness, its compassion and benevolence toward all. This is a renection of the friendly spirit which comes closest to us here at the College within our own circle. Happy is the house that shelters a friendf' says the philosopher. So are we. the College family. happy., for we house a student body of friends. Here are established ties that last a lifetime. Above all do we value another friend., The Friend. the Friend of sinners., 4' a Friend that sticketh closer tllan a brother. the Savior Who called His disciples His friends. He is the Une Vfho loved all mankind even unto death and sacrificed Himself that we might live.
