While attending high school he also took a business course. Mr. Leezy has his B. S. Degree in Education from Southwest Missouri State Teachers College at Springfield. Agriculture and education were his major courses, and mathematics, social science, and physical education were his minor courses. Superintendent Leezy started his career as a teacher in 1906, teaching in the rural schools of Crawford County for eight years He was principal ofthe Bourbon Schools for two years and four years principal of the Pacific Grade School ln l92l 22 he became principal ofthe Pacihc High School and last year he was advanced to the position of superintendent of our schools That his service has been of the highest type IS indicated bv his advancement Mr Leezy has been athletic director IH the schools of Pacific eleven years and it should be noted that before that time no cups medals or pennants were claimed by the school Since he became athletic director the school has won the largest collection of trophies in Franklin County and some of his athletes have won national honors By honest competition and generous sportsmanship not only ID athletics but in all phases of his work Mr Leezy has strlven consistently to impart to the student the spirit of his favorite maxim When Ihe One Crea!
