Classes Specialize 111 New Math Pacelli math department has kept up to date with all the techniques of the so recently acclaimed 'New Mllthf. Teachers realize the growing importance of mathe- matical theories to students whether col- lege bound or not. Students at Pacelli receive an excellent background in math through such courses as Algebra I and ll, Geometry, Advanced Math, and Solid Geometry.

The new modular schedules enabled the science classes to have longer class periods this year. As a result, chemistry lab periods were held regularly once a week. Biology and Physical Science students also benefited from lab periods though not quite as often.
