Campo, Preiidwll President Campo making a point at an informal meeting. 90 rt and Poster NDER the supervision of Faculty Advisor Ben Elkins the Art and Poster Club has grown in stature and rating, Officers were elected at the hrst meeting of the Spring Semester. Anthony Campo was elected President, Susan Berke, Vice- Presidentg Barbara Lipman, Secretary-Treasurerg and john Saunders, Public Relations Director. Admittedly, not all the members of the club are experienced brush or crayon artists. They are, however, sincere in their purpose Qto acquaint themselves with art appreciation and the techniques of art and poster workj, and great strides have been taken in this, the club's initial year. Worthy of mention is the fact that the club is composed entirely of freshmen. Everything ac- complished was done without the aid or advice of upperclassmen. Supplies were purchased, in- struction given, films shown, field trips arranged for and taken, and news releases written-all by freshmen club members. In the future, the club plans to aid all promo- tion campaigns of the Activities Otlice by prepar- ing posters and cartoons.
