Bridge Club HE immediate objectives of the Bridge Club are to provide the occasion for players to meet and compete for awards. The 1949 Tournament among students was won by Edward Shindelman, who was awarded the special medal recently created by Pace College. This tournament is held each year during the Spring. Inaugurated this year was the annual faculty- student tournament to be held each fall. No spe- cial awards were given, but all participants look forward to next year. First meeting of the new DeWitt Clinton Alumni Club. Law HE Law Club, under the guidance of Joseph A. Hoehlein, evening instructor in Law, is the newest organization at Pace College. Meetings are held every other week, and are conducted entirely by the students under the super- vision of the faculty adviser, and with such assist- ance from him as the group may request. It was proposed that the club deal with the practical side of the law-the phase which is not generally experienced in the classroom. The nature and scope of the meetings will, of course, be determined by the members themselves. fin SOUND knowledge of finance makes for a well-rounded career in business. Cognizant of this fact, and aware, also, of the enthusiastic inquisitiveness on the part of many students, fac- ulty members, William H. Robinson and Donald Phillips were instrumental in organizing the Fi- nance Club and putting it on an active basis. Bridge players take Ll break for a formal picture.
