The Student Council was involved in planning orientation week, planning an all-school dance, helping with commissions at basketball games, soliciting contributions for the Stacey Smith Home, sponsoring the candy machine in the student center, helping with school- wide cleanup programs, assisting in suggesting handbook revisions, and working with disciplinary problems. Seventh Grade Newspaper The SEVENTH GRADE NEWSPAPER staff worked hard this year and published several very fine editions. Sponsor: Mrs. Bonnie Sheldon. Inside The INSIDE staff published four issues of the paper this year. Sponsors and members of the staff attended workshops at Georgia State University and at the University of Georgia.
