The Student Council was involved in planning orientation week, planning an all-school dance, helping with commissions at basketball games, soliciting contributions for the Stacey Smith Home, sponsoring the candy machine in the student center, helping with school- wide cleanup programs, assisting in suggesting handbook revisions, and working with disciplinary problems. The Honor Society sponsored the teacher ' s aid program this year. Seniors were assigned to faculty members who needed some help running off hand- outs and giving individual help to other students Interact, a service organization of Pace, has participated in many worthwhile projects this year. The club continued to suppon an orphan in Korea, and the club collected for the Jewish Relief Fund. Interact also held a Halloween carnival for both Pace and A.V.A. children. Knight Gallery With partial financing by advertising, a large staff and a larger list of contributors put together, for the first time at Pace, a variety magazine, including stories, articles, poetry, art, and features. Sponsors: Mrs. Patricia Fastiggi, Mrs. Bonnie Sheldon. Pacesetter With only one member of the staff with experience, the 1974 PACESETTER staff worked doubly hard to produce this year ' s annual.
