This year's team included: ffront rowl: Kenneth Deland, Jesus Ramos, Eddie Garza, David Sikes, Terry Carlman, Erby Cha.ndler,Melton Allen and Billy Bob Holden. Kback rowl: Coach Pelto, Stanley Williams, Cico Cervantes, Jerry Jacobs, Don Lott, Clayton Friend, Mark White, Robert Price, Coach Hickman and Coach Cleere. One of the gala. events of the school year was the football banquet. The Lions were more than ready to celebrate their victory in district 6-A. The four co-captains: Mike Clay- ton, left, Jerry Beasley, Juan Delgado and Benny Friend crowned Carol Friend as their Football Queen. Annually the Ozona L io n s ' Club gives a banquet for the football players of the dist rict, at which time the all- district teams, coaches and officials are honored. The club gave performances in Eldorado and Sonora as part of an exchange program among the three towns.
