BOBBY WOIVIACK was one of the stars of the McCamey game. I-Ie was always dependable in a tight spot and wouldn't choke. Very good as a defensive ball player. Bobby was a Senior. TOM PINER proved that basketball is still halfdefense by making the Eldorado All-Tournament team on defense. We think Tom did aswell job both offensively and defensively. Tom was a Junior, so has one more year. S awk- .ai 2 BILL MANESS was the boy with the eye, When he shot, the big boys who were to rebound went down to the other end of the court. No sense in rebounding a ball after it sails through the hoop. Bill was a Juniorg his talents will be depended on next year. BILL SCHNEEMANN was our scorer this year. With his rebound, pivot, and jump shots he pushed through more points than any other player this season. A hustler and a rebounder, he was one of the boys who made our double post offense click. DON COOPER a good rebounder, and a real hustler on aloose ball. This was Don's first year out, and he dida goodjob. Next year, as a Senior, he should prove to be doubly good. JOE BAILEY Drive, drive and keep driving was Joe's motto. You can see that he carried this out, by getting 131 freethrows. Joe was a Senior and will be missed next season. 5-ififitevfgfs f!f2ii'5E.2 mgm..s snoii

CHARLES GARLITZ made the All-Tournament team at Big Lake by playing a magnificent game against San Angelo. He was just a Sophomore, opponents look Out in the next two years. VIRGIL, MACHADO Four point Virgil could always be depend- ed on to get four points or more. Virgil is a Senior and his graduation will be a loss to the squad. SCOTT HICKMAN had toughluck this year. He missed two tournaments and four games because of ill- ness, but when he played he ate the opposing team up with his left-hand jump shot and his rebounding. WAYNE KUYKENDALL. another eye who could shoot from any place and hold his own against anybody under any conditions. Wayne is a Junior, and should be one of the most valuable men on the squad next year. WILBURN CONKLIN started a little late, but toward the end of the season he had developed a terrific one-hand jump shot Wilburn is also a Junior, and should show much improvement next year.
