John came here from Iraan late in his Sophomore year. He was elected Vice-Pres - ident of his Junior class and played tennis in district meet that year. He was in both the Junior and the Senior plays of his class and represented his Senior class on the Student Council. John plans to enter the University of Texas when he graduates and will major in petroleum engineering. X, 1 i ,Q 1 .15 KAY KIRBY Ka y ha s been a mem- ber ofthe cho- ral club for fo u r y e a rs, and has sung with the quart- et, sextet and trio. She was Secretary of her Freshman class and representedthe Seniors onthe Student Council. Class favoriteasa Freshman, Foot- ball duchess and Homecoming Duchess her Junior year are among her honors. Kay participated in one-act plays, Junior and Senior plays, andasa Senior was a cheer- leader,and Business Manager of the annual. She plans to attend TCU after her graduation from high school. RAUL MACHADO In his Freshman year, Larry played in the band, sang in the chorus, ran track andwas class favorite. As a Sophomore, he managed the football team, worked on the annual and played basketball. He moved at midtermto Iraan, but returned at the beginning of his Junior year. He participatedin both the Junior and Senior plays. Larry isn't sure what he's going to do after he finishes school. He may join the Air Force.
