School buildings are only hulls until boys and girls enroll and begin classes in them. Our buildings have a reputation of being modern even though some of them were built thirty years ago. The Junior High is the oldest on the campus, the High School was built nextg and the two ele- mentary schools are of recent construction. This year saw the initial step in the con- struction of the new building which is to house a modern shop, hornemaking cottage, band hall, and the county's historical collection. Our buildings have been well cared for and with our facilities, receiving an education is much easier than it was in the past. High School 515, 335

The dance following the gradua- tion exercises was one of the high spots of the year for the Junior High School, aswell as many members of the High School. Qin M- Tuesday evening, May 27, saw the graduation of one of the largest classes in the history of the Ozona Schools, when 38 students graduated from the Junior High School. Jerry B e a sley acted as master of cere- monies in a program presented entirely by the members of the 8th grade. A piano duet was pre- sented by Susie Schneemann and Martha Bailey, the class history was read by Georgiana Ball, and Carol Blackstone gave the class will. Ann Bag- gett played a piano solo, Dwight Odom rendered a baritone solo, and Carol Friend and Robbie Kuykendall joined forces to give the class pro- phecy. The honor students of this class were Earl Deland, who was named Valedictorian, and Bob- bie Bull, with the second highest average, who was Salutatorian. Both were speakers on the program. Members of the 8th grade who received their diplomas were: Jerry Beasley, Gaylin Bishop, Jim Butler, Mike Clayton, Carl Conklin, Buddy Deakins, Earl Deland, Benny Friend, R.
