' -as The members of the Homemakin Department presented their conception of spring fashion in their annual style show. The show, directed by Mrs. Janie Hull, the stage decora- tions by Saunders, and music by the OHS dance band, was one of the department's biggest and best. Everyone enjoyed it and there were some lovely clothes shown. Some ofthe prettiest formals for spring dances in many a season. Handsome escorts, too. Left to right, Alena Powers, Kenneth Bledsoe, Charlene Perks, Charles Garlitz Shirley Kost, Scott Hickman, Jeannene Thompson and Graham Childress.

The Junior Play was funny, fast-moving, and well done. Everyone worked hard, and thanks to this work and Mrs. Hull's determination, the costuming, setting and timing were perfect. Everyone laughed especially hard at farmer Adam Pottle of the long, lank body and country drawl. And Junior Play there was Miss Ketura Katt, who swore by her ouija board. Tom Piner made a convincing girl, not at all self-conscious. Billy Chandler's cockney accent was good. Aminorcrisis occurredwhenBill Schneemann's moustache fell off, but the show went on. One of the outstanding garments in the show was this reversible coat dress made and modeled by Sophie Reina Blue on one side and blue and pink checks on the other it is completely reversible even to the buttons Some I-LE. I and II girls look ready for Easter in their ensembles that are made from materials and styles that range from very frilly and organdy to cotton and tailored. By the second year, these 8th graders, with their wider experience in tailoring, finishing, etc., turn out some very professional looking garments. I
