Although young in the profession, he has gained the respect of teachers, parents and pupils during his years in Ozona. He holds a M. A. degree from NTSC and is planning to begin work on his Ed. D. this summer. ,c :Fi vw ll BLAKE E. YAGER, JR. High School Mr. Yager came to OHS last year, having taught previously in Nocona and Sono ra. He graduated from Texas Wesleyan College, where he was active in student aigairs and where he played basketball. He has a lVl.A. degree from NTSC and is planning to work on his Ph. D. at the University of Wyoming. In addition to his duties as principal, he teaches History. N P.O. HATLEY Junior High School Mr. Hatley took over the job of heading the Junior High this year. He came to Ozona from the Scranton schools, after many years of teaching and administra- tive experience. He is a graduate of NTSC and holds a lVl.A. degree from the University of Texas. Mr. Hatley teaches Social Studies in addition to his duties as principal. OUR PRI NCIPALS 92 1' at I 3 ... ' ' ,f ' 1 4 ff f 5, a,, T., 1 W. H. STOCKARD South Elementary School This is lVlr. Stockard's first year in Ozona. Coming from the principal's post at Academy HighSchoolin Temple, he held the reins of the South Elemen tary School this year. In addition to having been the principal of three schools,he has also coached basketball and football. A graduate of NTSC, where he was active in student politics, he has completed most of the work toward his Ph. D. He also teaches the fourth grade, as well as performing administra tive duties as principal.
