W GSW-HR QtQi '9tQfas.?9tQfa.....Z9tQ5 SENIOR CLASS CLASS Morro Build for character and not for famef CLASS COLORS: Old Rose and Silver CLASS FLOWER: Rose CLASS OFFICERS President . , . . . Felder Webb Secretary-Treasurer Lillian Schowengerdt , Reporter . Hugh Archibald q7:e seniors have observed that book-learning alone is not all that is necessary for preparing an individual for the work of life. It is true that the lessons have been long and hard sometimes. but what goal is more appreciated than the one which has cost a great deal in good. honest perspiration and application. In preparing ourselves for the caps and gowns. we realized that abalanced school life brings the most effective results. Our records show that we have used discretion in our choice of worlc and play. We have faced the storm clouds bravely. while plowing our way through the hills of knowledge. Many times we could not see above or below. yet we pushed on to find ourselves at last on a place more beautiful than before. And now. though we do not claim to have reached perfection. we are more nearly prepared to face life with all its vicissitudes and hardships: more determined to meet our failures and misfortunes. 7 ' L I As we'leave the portals of the Ozark Wesleyan Academy. we bequeath to the persistent juniors our footsteps which will guide them through the steepest hills in the upward climb to the mountain of knowledge. To the plodding sophomores. we bequeath our fine example of scholarship and perseverance. And to the youthful, uncouth and bewildered freshmen, we bequeath our pattern of wisdom. confidence and ability to con- centrate so that they may weather safely the onslaughts of the faculty: of the pretentious volumes of literature: and the furious waves of their school life. page seventy egsseijsif sseuseoaass EEet'9a26te3 seaesseamsssemesaa i 5 1
