Johnny Sours 4 1 Secretary-Treasurer Anthony Sigillito Dear reader, this is not an advertisement, therefor no attempt is made in this article concerning the highest class in Ozark Wesleyan College to say anything clever or catchy. We do not need any publicity for great people are modest. Neither is this a poster or bill, for we believe in the modern defense, Post no Bills. And far be it from us to prophecy: there is nothing more certain than present accomplishment. But, this little article is one in which we, the juniors, seek to review, so to speak, our various constituents and count our blessingsyfor we are decided optimists: we look at life from the bright side. i We rejoice at the fact that in one more year we shall have reached our goal, viz., a college education, and shall have realized our ambition, to be cultured finished pro- ducts. Were we pessimists,'we could dwell for long hours thinking about the fact that after all the attainment ofthis goal is but the beginning of the real work of life. were we pessimists, we could lament for days the fact that this is our lst year in dear old Wesleyan, and that perhaps a 'long time shall have elapsed ere we may see our Alma Mater again. ' -I is Our class of ten is the largest junior class that was ever produced in this rapidly growing institution. and we are glad top make our exit, for we realize that our exodus means for Ozark, Wesleyan' 'a fu-nioriclass of twice or thrice our number in 1927. ln many respects, our class is well-balanced, but in weight and age the boys take the lower disk of the scale, while in intell-igencelarid.beauty the boys are forced to look down from the upper disk upon the girls, Qnvying eyes., . Both theboysezand girls of thisI'-elsif-gsfgsljbxvever, have furnished leaders for most of the student organizations. if Vlfithbbut. the followingfew pages, dear reader, you may ascertain withiyourlz ...undeniable fact, ,,.' We, Juniors of 1926, have some faults, of course, but we are optimists: we look at the bright side of life. In bidding our last adieu to Ozark Wesleyan and Wesleyanites, we are glad to bequeath to the following classes our unique and incomparable philosophy: We are what we think we are: but we never think of lowly things, but rather of the higher, brighter and more beautiful things, so that though we may see and hear and touch bad things our thoughts keep us above our surroundings.
