Getzel Wyatt A N OCTOBER 9, 1924, a group of fifteen college girls met and organized the Q. P. Club. 1 f ii On September 21, 1925, the old members gave a rush tea for some of the new girls of the college at the home of the president. . On September 29, 1925, the old members met., elected officers and voted in nine new members. ln order to carry out our purpose of promoting organized pep and school spirit, the Kewpies sold ticlcets for various activities. attended football and basketball games, both here and in other towns: following the team to Springfield. Miami. Fort Scott. Jop- lin and others when we staged little events to add variety to the games. ln our efforts to promote organized pep we have not failed to attain a high scholastic standard, nor have we neglected our social activities. Among the outstanding events of the year are: Rush tea on September 21: chapel program by new members. October 7: weenie roast, November 9: banquet for football men on November 24: Christmas chapel program. December 18: P. alumni tea, Feb- ruary 14: hamburger fry for the basketball men on February 27g chapel program, March 30: party by the sponsor.
