Physical and Practical Arts Physical and practical arts, in many ways, play an important part in full individual de- velopment. Instructors in both of these arts constantly try to make these benefits available to all students. Physical arts instructors en- deavor not only to increase physical ability, but, through the use of team sports, encour- age a competitive spirit and team-manship. Instruments in achieving this goal are programs of math, science, and history. There are a variety of courses in each of these programs which provide an insight into the future by offering insights into the past, into the realm of numbers and figures, and by providing an in- centive for deeper investigation and experimenta- tion, for deeper knowledge. The scientific surroundings make Mr. Jeffery's occupa tion evident.
