The idea for High School Bowl originated from the popular television series College Bowl. Year- long competition concluded with Harvard University placing first and SMU ranking second. First semester finalists include Ruth Ann Penner, Gregg Davis, Debbie Hopkins, Brenda Haslip, and Bill Albert. Don Creson is top individual scorer. John Biers, Bill Cobb, Debby Deidiker, who is also a top individual scorer, Susan Sadowski, and DaLane Barnett comprise the second semester champions. Ken Mitchell is the sponsor. Foreign Exchange Z Under the supervision of Miss Jane Bruce, Spanish Club mem- bers received much honor as Viviana Martinez, foreign exchange student for Chile, visited OHS. After her 10-week stay, the club held a party in her honor as she departed to her native country. Al- so, members encountered their annual banquet at Casa Montez as they ate Spanish food.
