Senior Officers SENIOR OFFICERS: Betty Delaney-Treasurer, Peggy Landers-Secretary, Donna Cole-Vice President, Hank Pinkerton -President. Senior Log A log is for all intents and seriousf?j purposes, a record of some momentous period of time. At least we try to think that the four years of high school enveloped a crucial and somewhat mystifying second in the minute of our lives. The following is especially dedicated to those who open this yearbook 50 years from now and are probably reading this log for the first time. In 1964 We were frantic freshmen, electing Sandra Harmon president, Peter Holm vice-president, Jill Alexander treasurer, and jane Madden secretary, to do the dirty work. With almost too much enthusiasm we managed to have two bake sales. Remember? The following year with two new sponsors we set a precedent for this class of 1968- giving every teacher a chance at pot luck. Peter Holm president, Hank Pinkerton vice- president, jill Alexander treasurer, and jane Madden secretary, got out their horsewhips and encouraged us to have three bake sales, two joyous car washes, and a sale of now in- famous and certainly unforgettable O.B.H.S. license plates. 1967 ushered in a new set of political bosses: Hank Pinkerton president, Donna Cole vice-president, Betty Delaney treasurer, and Peggy Landers secretary. ,Amazingly enough we pulled off a bake sale and the enormously successful Auction Dance with music by The Kult . Karen DuBrul and Ken Fishman were in charge, and responsible for the fact that on May 26, some beautiful people converged upon the Thatched Cottage for QA Night in King Arthur's Court . Not to be forgotten is the morning after at Jones Beach. With 1968 we became more sedate while nursing our pre-college ulcers. We became more conservative Cdespite the rampant urge to be differentj and electing the same fine team of class officers as last year. The magazine drive gave us anything but flat feet and the candy sale added a few unwanted pounds. Our senior play, The Miracle Worker, earned a place in the far recesses of our memories. And of course the Washington Trip about which nothing more need be said. In among all of this were the all-night parties, exchange students, crushes, cars, and the discovery of Fire Water . There was beauty and sadness and laughing. .M 1'
