Our Stor ndio Oyster Bay is quite a change for Sudipta fmore commonly known as Sudi j Ghosh, our AFS student from Calcutta, the largest city in India. In Sudi's opinion, American people are very friendly, and very curious about other countries. She is most impressed with our educational system, saying that Americans receive a more extensive education. Sudi enjoys a variety of activities, and has had many new experiences this year. fWhen she came here she had never seen snowj. So another exchange of cultures has taken place at Oyster Bay High School. It is to be hoped that Sudi will enjoy her stay with us, as much as we have enjoyed having her.

Up From Down Under Here under the Rotary Exchange Fellowship Program is Graham Crosby from Kadina, South Australia. He leaves us in December to attend the University of Adelaide, also in South Australia, as a science major. While attending Oyster Bay High School, Graham has par- ticipated in many of the school's activities. He was on the track team, joined the chorus, and played Dr. Bridges in the senior play. Delightedly, he was the recipient of last year's American Mathematics Association Award. Of America, Graham says, America isn't much different from Australia. The people are basically the same in interests and outlook. The only difference is that Americans can't speak English! I will be very disappointed to leave Oyster Bay. Oyster Bay will be sorry to see him go.
