The Junior class of '81 started off the school year pre- pared for anything. This year's Jr. class was one of great unity and determination. In the beginning of the school year, Homecoming plans and committees were well organized before the end of Sept. Yet with all these arrangements the juniors finished second in both the float and spirit chain con- tests and a somewhat disappointing last place in the hall competition. The air of November was filled with anticipation for foul Q- nfws the arrival of our school rings. After receiving our class rings the long search for that important 81st turn had begun. Nearing the end of the school year the traditional Jun- ior Prom was expected. However the class surprised everyone by having a Spring Dance in which all classes could attend. In this way more money will go towards the Senior Prom. Having shown an early desire to have a great senior prom the class of 81 has already proven that they will be an excelling Senior class. .f V f f .L H 2 .ff 5 Juniors Class ,, ff' T ,, ., . - H ww- 0 ,,kL ff ,. 1 f M fc , ,, H V A Q ,, , 3, ft A ,,'ii f f ' - ' Y X M Q - Q f V ' f A r - . . ' M, When the upperclassmen think of tenth graders they think of the silly, silly sophomores, immaturity, unprepared, unorganized and inexperienced but not with the class of 1982. Within the first few months of school the class of 1982 had taken first place in Home- coming float contest, a well deserved second place in hall competition, and an unfortunate third place in the spirit chain. As the new mates aboard the Clipper Ship, the sopho- mores showed great maturity and organization during the preparations for the Valentine s Dance. By attending the dance the students could see the time and effort the sophomores spent in making the dance a success. As the sophomores scheduled their classes for the fol- lowing year thoughts of class rings the PSAT test the junior prom and preparing to be thejunior class of 1982 preoccupied their minds. fd rf it NUR' N! pd N8 'N RZ- K ' . 32 T3'4.Q- :rrp -w, Q , ai J .
