HE IJIH 'fi-s':ff-ff ', - World War II has brought about many changes within the United States and the world and has created a period unique in American history. Many serious and troublesome problems arc ff Vg 2 presented, and it is necessary to face new conditions dealing with government, My industry, and business. Our scope has '54, six been broadened, and we must think in terms of the world rather than our own country and our near neighbors. It is a challenge to the American people to ad- just themselves to the new order: then strive to meet and solve the problems as they are presented. ,NHi Finding the solution to many of the im- portant questions of the present period will be the responsibility of the young people who are now graduating from the schools throughout the country. There is a definite challenge to all graduates to adjust themselves to the new ways of life and meet existing conditions. Opportunities are unlimited for individuals who are prepared and have vision and the required energy for the work ahead. The outlook for the members of the Class of 1946 is good, and their future will depend upon the indi- vidual effort put forth. Each graduate should decide upon a definite field of work, prepare for it, and then give the necessary time and energy to its problems. The amount of success attained by any individ- ual will be measured by his effort and devotion to duty. W. D. BANNISTER, Principal. 'W V
