She has also devoted a great many afternoons to building elaborate sets for Paint and Putty. julie is almost always the hrst member of our class to reach school in the morning, and as the rest of us struggle in, we can see her calmly knitting a pair of' argyles, unmoved by the noise and confusion around her. julie has made strong friendships which should grow stronger in future years. To DESCRIBE Margie you have to misquote Shakespeare and say Margie is the soul of wit . She is an expert at Finding the right remark for the right time, she never seems to run out of stories and mimicries of the real Vermonter , whom she has seen during her many summers spent in Vermont. Moreover, Margie never fails to amaze her teammates with her great ability and agility in sports and the classroom. When the occasion demands, Margie can be as serious as anyone. Nevertheless, she will be remembered for her wry smile and the expressive face which accompanies one of her stories.
