A calm way of doing things does not overshadow her sense of humor and knack for producing the unexpected. She can say much in little and with rt few words will touch off amusement and laughter. Sally continues to surprise us with her list of skills. She can be counted on for Z1 well-placed serve in tennis or a scoring basket. She has entered into the activities of the schoolg she is now President of Spanish Club and a four-year member of Paint and Putty. To Lois, the boundaries of what she knows seem far too constricted and she seeks to push them back. Lois has the curiosity and interest to question or read in her search for a broader point of view. Balancing this serious outlook are the spurts of fun and humor. Lois is one of those lucky people who have no need for the word dither g clocks and Lois are the best of friends. She always arrives ahead of time with many minutes to spare, though she is the class's Newington fepre- sentativeg she has innumerable minutes to spare if someone needs a pair of willing hands or a sympathetic listener. This interest in people extends into an appreciation of history and current events, yet her love of people extends further and she wants also to help them, perhaps someday as a doctor. Lois has her other side toog since joining us in the junior year she has brought face-saving inches to the class basketball team, as one of our tall guards. Student Foreign Policy Auociation. llsl
