rJ edication To help the young soul, to odd energy, to inspire hope, and blow the coals into a useful flame, to redeem defeat by new thought and firm action, this, though not easy in the work of divine men. Because we feel she possesses these characteristics, the Annual Staff takes pri de in dedicating this edition of the Yellow Jacket to Mrs. Ruth Brown. Mrs. Brown takes an active part in the life of Oxford High by participation not only in teaching, but in the extra-circular activities as well. She directs the activities of the Beta Club, the Junior Beta Club, Junior Class, and the Stinger’Staff. In addition, she accompanies a group of students to New York each year. Mrs. Brown, through her many activities, has long promoted the ideals of leadership, scholarship, and achievement which each person should posses. To you, Mrs. Brown, in appreciation for your leadership, understanding, patience, and devotion to the students of Oxford High, we, the Yellow Jacket Staff, do affectionately dedicate these our efforts for 1964.
