This sentiment, we ore certain, is shored by the countless number whom he hos served so faithfully during his neorly holf o century as o physician in this area. At all hours, no matter how trying the circumstances, Dr. Coffey hos performed his professional duties with the quiet, colm patience ond kindness for which he is known and loved. Beyond ministering to the physical needs of his patients, he hos shared their joys, sorrows and often their burdens. To counsel them personally, os well os professionally, hos often been port of his work. This, too, he hos done with wisdom ond understanding. Simpson, Jr. is the pride of Oxford High School and the town of Oxford. During the year, the band presents a variety of pro- grams including spectacular football shows, parades, and other special occasions. This year, the band was invited to participate in the activities of the Gator Bowl, Jacksonville, Florida. The concert band is rated as one of the finest in the state and to complete the year performs a spring concert which is an evening of enioyment for all. Summer does not find the band idle as they con- tinue practice, and then enioy a full week of vacation in Daytona Beach, Florida. We at Oxford are very proud of our fine band.
