The purposes of the organization are to create opportunities for closer cooperation between stu- dents and faculty, to provide opportunities for stu- dent self-direction, to foster all worthy school activities. to provide for discussion of questions of BETTY LOU RAWLS Vice-President interest to the student body, and to create and maintain standards of good citizenship among stu- dents. As a means of fulfilling these purposes, stand- ing committees are appointed to help meet the basic needs of students and faculty membersg special com- mittees are appointed as the need arises. The as- sociation also sponsors various projects and activities which are of benefit to Oxford High School. .
