Mary Helen Black- Student Council The Student Association of Oxford High is composed of a president, vice-president, sec- retary and treasurer, who are elected by mem- bers of the student body, two representatives from each homeroom and a faculty advisor. The purposes of the organization are to create opportunities for closer cooperation be- tween students and faculty, to provide oppor- tunities for student self-direction, to foster all worthy school activities, to provide for dis- cussion of questions of interest to the student body, and to create and maintain standards of good citizenship among students. As a means of fulfilling these purposes, standing committees are appointed to help meet the basic needs of students and faculty membersg special committees are appointed as the need arises.
