So, this is what it takes... Wednesday, October 13, was a day the freshmen of 82-63 will remember for quire a while . .. Initiation was in full swing. For the girls, the day started at 6:00 A M. The seniors picked their little sisters up and took them to breakfast ot Kelly Sforlien’s house. Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, frozen fruit salad, cinnamon rolls, and orange juice. After breakfast the seniors dressed the freshmen up in baby’s clothes. Some of the seniors rook their little sisters to Winfield before school, and others just goofed off around town. The senior and freshmen boys met in the boys' locker room at 8:00. The seniors then proceeded to dress the freshmen up in women's clothes. At noon, the lunch crowd was entertained by o mole-female chorus line singing We Love You Seniors. Outside, there was kissing the flagpole, leapfrog, and pushups. The general feeling about initiation from the freshmen was that it was fun ond messy. The seniors enjoyed it, agreeing that the freshmen were good sports. Four freshmen push pencils over the rumble strips with their noses. 12
