OFFICERS Gate Service is an honor organization and it is a privi- lege to be a member. It is composed of students who maintain at least a B aver- age, and members are elected from the sophomore, junior, and senior classes. The mem- bers are on duty selling tick- ets, popcorn, pop at various home sports events. The or- ganization also sponsors the Gate Service all-school plays in the spring. Gate Service is not all work, however, the Christmas party and annual spring trip to Wichita are among the year’s highlights for Gate Service members. President - Doug Jenkins; Sec. FFA PREPARES AG STUDENTS FOR FUTURE The Future Farmers of America, or FFA as it is commonly known, is the national organization of, by and for boys studying vocational agriculture in public secondary schools. The foundation upon which FFA is built includes leadership and character development, sportsmanship, cooperation, service, thrift, scholarship, improved agriculture, organized recreation, citizenship, and patriotism.
