HIGHLIGHTS Sohool Carnival: One of our main money making schemes in l9L6 was the carnival on Not- ember 19. The usual booth concessions were set up and operated by various members of the class. The main attractions of the evening were a colorful style show, all the models being senior girls, and a turkey raffle. Mrs. Edmonds had the lucky ticket for the turkey. A paper novelty stand w ae another attraction. The Public found relief for that 9:30 empty feeling by dropping in at the Snack Bar, where pie, rolls, pop, and hot coffee were served. Despite a lot of hard work and intensive planning, the undertaking was a profitable success as well as a very entertaining venture. The class bank account shows a S100 increase as a result. nexus-infinitive: 111181114 High School Party by the Seniors: On Friday evening, January 23, the seniors entertainedthe under- classmen with a party in the gymnasium. As I hesitate, wondering whether to speak or turn and run, s voice deep with secrecy, speaks - What do you want? 'I---I just want to find out what the Oxford seniors will be doing in ten years. Come heref' commands the voice. I stumble into a chair. This is what the crystal shows.
