5-4:--J V First Row Cha r lotte Jackson Beverly Herrick Patricia Owens Evelyn Fritz Lewis Poland Kenneth Johnson John Pike Second Row Ronald Meserve Marion Byrd Constance Davis Jane Percy Ruby Phelps Marilyn Gray Maureen Albison Robert Grover FRESHMAN CLASS Scnoolbegan September sixth with an enrollment of seventeen members of the freshman class Three subjects were required for the entering either Latin or Junior Business Training All but one of us chose the latter On Thursday the fourteenth we were initiated by having to dress an outlandish fashion the year went on we regretted the los of three members of our class Later this year we were glad to have Maureen Albison Join our class She was previously a pupil at Mechanic Falls High School We hada roller skating party to begin building up our class treasury This year the following boys and girls went out for basketball John Pike Ronald Meserve Robert Grover Kenneth Johnson Patricia Owens Evelyn Fritz and Beverly Herrick We were very sorry that Patricia Owens was unable to play in two or three of the last games because of a knee condition There are fifteen in our class now and we hope that there will be that many and more next year 1 y . 0 . 3 - : I . ! l ' I !
