Reflecting the aesthetic aspects of the students' lives, the COLLECTOR is an expression of the emotional side of Oxford. Chorus Why sing? Why take up another hour each week to sing? This single hour is more than just sixty minutes spent vibrating the vocal cords. It is an hour spent in the exploration of music of the past and present. Dr. Guillebeau serves as a competent and enthusiastic guide. Without him, the chorus is lost. Leadership, campus spirit, dedi- cation-these qualities constitute the Circle K member. An honorary service organization, Circle K taps members from the freshman class in the spring and the sophomore class in the fall. Cleaning the Confederate Cemetery, co-sponsoring the Christ- mas Dance, and producing the Miss Oxford Pageant are examples of their program.
