CLASS HISTORY As we, the Class of 1983 complete our last year at Oxford High, we are eagerly anticipating what the future may bring. Yet, there are many memories to be cherished. In our freshman year, Ruth Boyer served as president, Terri Fowlston was next in line as our vice-president. Darlene Harvey was our secre- tary and Pat O'Reilly managed the money. To start our account, we sold pocket planning cal- endars. As sophomores, Rocky Honkomp led the way, Terri Fowlston served a second term as vice- president. Robbin Rydzewski was our secretary and Pam Ballard took control of the money. That year, we sponsored sock hops, a St. Patrick's Day Dance, and had bake sales which in- creased our funds. During our Junior year, Ruth Boyer returned to the throne as our president and Dennis McBride was second in command. Pam Ballard took the notes and Amy Jenness was our treasurer. We sold magazines and had rollerskating parties to raise money. Our prom song was Crazy Over You, written and sung by Geoff Magnani. The gym was decorated in dark blue, baby blue, and white. Darlene Harvey was the Prom Queen. She was escorted by Bill Ballard. The princesses were Karen Whaley and Jacky Knoll, respective- ly. As Seniors, we said bon voyage to Jacky Knoll and Ruth Boyer, as they left for Japan and Finland as exchange students. Our final year ended with Robbin Rydzewski as president and John Borchardt as our vice-president. Mary Ellen Boname was our secretary and Amy Jenness re- turned as treasurer. Seniors 15
