HISTORY OF THE CLASS OF '81 As freshmen, we were led by Laura Ackerman as president. Joan Washington served as vice. B. J. Riven- burg took notes and Linda Hemstrought started out as treasurer, what ended up being the first time any- body ever held the treasury spot for four years. We had a few sock-hops to raise money. During our sophomore year we were under the care of B. J. Rivenburg as president. Karen Dutcher served under her. Carol Fowlston started her three year term as secretary and Linda kept track of our money. In the middle of our sophomore year, Mr. Podraza came as successor to Mr. Maholchic. Our major fund-raiser was the sale of calendars. We attempted a carwash, but to say the least, it rained! B. J. was gladly welcomed back as president our junior year. Renee Rydzewski was second-in-command. The positions of secretary and treasurer stayed with Carol and Linda, respectively. To raise money for Prom we sold magazines and posters. Our theme for Prom was “Babe”, decorated in shades of blue. Renee Ryd- zewski was crowned Queen as she was escorted by Tim Fleming. The title of first princess was given to Cathy Eagan, and Karen Dutcher given the honor of second princess. At the end of our junior year we sadly said good-bye to our two advisors, Mrs. Baldwin and Mr. Walsh. We have dedicated this year’s yearbook to them as a small token of our appreciation for all the help and advice they gave us the three years they were with us. SENIORS at last!!! This year we started out with two new advisors. The old as well as the new have done a great job for us. “Tuesday’s Gone” was the theme of our Homecoming. Carol Kenyon inherited the title of Queen; her King was Vince Schmidt. Linda Cleary was first princess and Patti Palmer was second. Our leader was Linda Small as president; Carla Ortolano backed her up. Carol served her last year as secretary and Linda completed her final year as treasurer. As graduation draws nearer, we gather our memories. One of the best memories to take with us will have to be our “YEAR AT THE TOP!!!” Regenis Qcholarship Winners Top 5 Honor Students — Cathie Crissey. Carol Fowlston, Gwen Kulina. Linda Small.
