In Appreciation The Class of 1974 would like to show its appreciation to Mrs. Joan Swertfager for her service and dedication to our class. Mrs. Swertfager has been with us since 8th grade. She taught us English that year. In our Freshman year, she switched to Latin and also became our head advisor. She kept us out of trouble until our Junior year, when our class presented Nights in White Satin, our prom. Mrs. Swertfager was the main force behind our success that night. We have really appreciated her throughout the years but most of all during our Senior year. She has been the one who bailed us out of all our troubles. So we say, “Thank you from us all - The Class of 1974”. 24
