Greg Walker and the Rock Garden furnished the music for the dance. The class of 1969 presented Whispering Autumn, the 1968 Homecoming, on October 19, 1968. The Black- hawk's victorious football game helped to make Homecoming a very special memory. Highlighting the dance were last year's queen and king, Chris Hart and Jim Lobdell, who crowned the 1968 Homecoming Queen Carolyn Cheseboro and her escort David Beckwith. The court included first princess Sue Rood, escorted by Rodney Bosworth, and second princess Patti Van Guilder, escorted by Charles Brigham, Marsha Blum and Tom Fowlston, Mary Preston and Tim Fowlston, Lynne Schmidt and Ron Winner, Kathy Loughren and Ron Behe, Diane Tansey and George Howe, Vikki Titchner and Martin Tefft, Elaine Lashway and Larry Coveil, and Helen Popovczak and Matt Sherman, and Connie Holbrook and John James.
