MR. FREDERICK D. TINKER MR. Frederick D. Tinker assumed the position of Supervising Principal of Oxford Aca- demy and Central School in 1954. He started his teaching career in Smyrna High School, and from there he went to Sherburne Central School. While at Sherburne, he was appointed Vice-Principal; and later he was transferred to South Otselic where he held the position of Supervising - Principal. Mr. Tinker was awarded his B.A. at Hartwick College in Oneonta and he did graduate work in Administration and Supervision for his M.A. at Syracuse University. Mr. Tinker is very well-liked by the faculty and students of Oxford Academy. D. ROBERT Administration GfU l MR. Glenn D. Roberts came to Oxford in 1937; and in 1949, he was appointed Elementary Super- visor of Oxford Academy. In this capacity, Mr. Roberts assists teachers in outlining courses of study, acts on disciplinary cases in grades K through 6 and recom- mends textbooks and other teach- ing aids, as part of his many duties. Mr. Roberts is the friend and counselor of every child in the elementary grades. MISS Bessie Trimmingham is the Vice-Principal and Guid- ance Counselor. Prior to coming to Oxford in 1942, she taught at Avoca High School and Otego Cen- tral School. In cooperation with the principal, Miss Trimmingham plans the administration of the school program in grades 7-12. Her guidance has been invaluable in helping students determine their future occupations. 7

Supervisor MR. ERNEST G. YOUMANS MR. Youmans is the District Sup- ervisor for Sherburne, South Otselic, South New Berlin, New Ber- lin and Oxford Schools with offices in Sherburne. He is a graduate of Oxford Academy and one of our most distinguished alumni.
