I ! We, the Class of '55, are proud that we have graduated from Oxford Area High School. During our twelve years here, we have known many happy times. At graduation a great change will come into our lives. Suddenly, we shall no longer have the faculty to inspire us and share our responsibilities. As we look back on our school days, we shall always remember that we have been taught the incentive to reach higher goals. Our decisionsfthen, must be our own. Uaaf' For many years each graduating class chose its own class ring. Selected from many different styles, the ring becameabond among classmates--not alumni. In September 1953, the class of 1955 expressed not only its desire but the need of the school for a standard ring. After several months of hard work, Junior, Sophomore, Freshman class officers- chose a standard ring for Oxford Area High School. With the final approval of the school board the seal and ring were adopted as the standard insignia for every graduate of Oxford Area High School. Through the years our contribution to our schoolwill be worn and remembered by all. Let us wear the ring with pride in remembrance of our classmates and our Alma Mater. 2
