Robbie A very important member of our class of 1986, Robbie Gilson, died on Sep- tember 5, 1981. He was a happy-go- lucky type of person who always loved a good joke. You could ask him any sports question and he almost always knew the answer - some people say that he was a sports dictionary. He was a good student and athlete. He participated in the making of ln- terim, the art sculpture hanging in Ox- bow's front lobby. He was also a lot of help to the 1982 Oxbow yearbook staff. Robbie was active. He was an excep- tionally good fencer, and a valuable member of the cross country team. He was also involved in the gymnastics program. Outside of school Robbie enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, playing DSD and having a good time with friends. We all miss him a lot. His sudden death has left an empty space in the hearts of all who knew him. Our mem- ories ofthe time we spent with him will live on with each of us for ever. 62
